>>So I guess that just means this.  Anytime you actually want someone to understand what you say, I think you know what you have to do.  Or you can just continue to obfuscate....  I just don't quite see why you put up posts that are essentially incomprehensible<<

You could say exactly the same thing about Revelations (good Lord what a mess, yet there are most definately some gems shining thru that morass of fear).  Nevertheless I'm sorry if I try to point to too many things too quickly,  I've been at this way too long.  It's a schizophrenic's or a mystic's perspective depending probably on whether you agree or don't agree :)  My posts probably suffer from the difficulties of interpreting things that are difficult to describe.  Just like your scripture.  That's why the language I use is metaphorical, symbolic, and focused on emotions.

Don't take my posts personally, they aren't meant that way and sometimes they are directed at a very specific audience.  I've got from my own perspective at least three different things going on simultaneously here and I know my posts are disruptive to orderly discussion.  Sometimes it's like I'm arguing with several hundred preachers with half of them yelling repent:)

Which brings me back to the reason I am using such harsh broad brush generalizations.  In my view your religion is periously close to forfeiting it's own first best destiny in what should be it's most magnificent hour.  How do you redirect the enormous momentum and focus of a religion that has carried forward but now so often refuses to acknowledge it's own greatests gifts.  How do you stop the judging?  How do you stop the condemnation?  How do you stop the self-loathing?  How do you stop the fear?  How do you the endless bickering over scriptural interpretations?

"Did not Christ teach us that, when scripture is not informed by love and justice, it is no longer valid? (Mark 2:24-27, 3:4, 7:2-23, 10:2-12, 12:19-34: Matthew 9:10-15, 12:1-7 & 10-13, 15:1-14, 19:1-12,21:31, 22:17:40, 23:1-33 Luke 5:33-35, 6:1-10, 7:31-35, 10:25-37,11:37-52, 13:14-17, 14:3-6, 16:15-18, 18:10-14, 20:22-47: John 5:16-47,6:31-33, 7:19-24, 8:3-11, 10:33-38)"

Sorry it's not original...  If you can't deal with the issue of gay marriage and gay love without thundering moral obscenities from Mt Sinai, then how do you ever expect to solve the issue of abortion, or shepard unconditional love into every corner of this world.  And no I don't mean continuing the promulgation of your religion and it's historical dogmas to people holding different beliefs.

"Leave your Christianity at home. Bring Christ, and you are welcome."

>>Then why is it so hard for you to admit that you are pro-life?<<

Because it's a political buzzword that has lost all rational meaning.  How do you reconcile the impluse to bring life into the world with the one to degrade it by calling it inherently fallen and sinful?
